A fun and engaging class programmed to develop confidence, trust, inner strength and positive connection with others while encouraging a strong sense of self. Students work with discipline through practice of yoga postures to improve strength, flexibility, balance and co-ordination, and are gently challenged to reach their potential in a fun and non-competitive environment. Children also learn simple mindfulness, meditation and breathing techniques which help them stay connected with their best self, and develop affirmations to counter negative thought patterns and feed a sense of calm.
A powerful, wholesome activity for kids aged between 8 and 12 who enjoy both structure and creativity and would benefit from spending time in a small group of great friends.
