Exploring Breath 4 Week Program
Practices of Pranayama and Meditation
Enhance your capacity to breathe for physical, mental and emotional wellbeing by elevating your understanding of how to change your breathing to calm your mind and nervous system using yogic breathing practices – Pranayama – with gentle expert guidance. You’ll come away with at toolbox of breathing techniques to apply in a home practice, and a better understanding of the techniques you come across in regular yoga classes.
A series of classes specifically designed for Pranayama practice – breathing to affect your energy. Classes will include gentle movement to help release tension that constricts the breath, breathing techniques to affect your energy and mantra to bring the mind into meditation.
Over 4 weeks, through wise preparation and practice you will learn:
- 2 cleansing techniques
- 6 pranayama techniques
With time to explore and experience the effects of these practices as they move you towards a meditative state.
Week 1 – Establish your breath connection
Week 2 – Practices to release
Week 3 – Practices to build vitality
Week 4 – Practices for stability, balance and equanimity
Each week will build on the previous week
You will receive a practice sheet each week to remind you of details to assist you in repeating the practices at home if you choose to.
This program is suitable for students who are interested in the power of the breath, those who would like to feel the full benefits of yoga without having to move so much, and those who seek to deepen the meditative aspect of their yoga practice without having to try to sit with a quiet mind.
4-week program is $120.00
Classes may not be attended individually.
If you miss a class, you will receive a class credit which may be used at a regular class.
