There's nothing quite like a certain introduction and a solid foundation when you're stepping into something new.

Hi, I'm Tes (that's me in the picture) and I LOVE to help people find their yoga fit. I've been working with yoga beginners for several years now, helping people just like you find their yoga flow.

You've heard yoga is great for you right?  

You've been thinking of giving it a try?

But stepping straight into an established class with people who look like they really know what they're doing can be a little intimidating (not to mention unsafe if it's a strong class!)  

So in this Beginners Yoga Workshop we'll break things down for you in an open, welcoming environment so you can become familiar with the look and feel of yoga at Relax.

We'll also bring awareness of the different types of classes on offer (because not all yoga is made alike!) so that you can get clear about what it is you're looking for!

And if you're keen to continue with us we'll deduct the price of your workshop from your first pass.

Come to our Beginners Yoga Workshop and we'll set you up with the foundation, confidence and knowledge to step into classes feeling like a pro!

Don't worry,  its not going to be a 120 minute work out!

This Beginners Yoga Workshop will be presented in sections with rest in between and will finish with a long deep relaxation meditation (which will be fully guided so you can't fail!), and time for questions. 

You'll come away with:

  • A basic awareness of a variety of yoga poses along with principles for safe practice of these poses
  • The right modifications to suit your body
  • An awareness of what type of yoga you're looking for
  • Simple breathing techniques to reduce stress
  • Easy meditation techniques to help calm the mind
  • And a simple flow that you can practice on your own to enhance your overall well being.
You'll leaving feeling GREAT having both worked and rested your body and mind.

Our studio will be set with everything you need for your practice.  If you have your own mat please bring that, otherwise a large towel to cover our mats works fine.

Wear clothes that don't restrict your movement and bring your water bottle.
