Workshop 2: Yoga For Young Athletes Sunday, May 26th 10:30am-12:30pm 

Athletics is an important part of growing up, it teaches young people how to work as a team, build coordination, endurance, speed and strength.

As the body is undergoing rapid growth throughout the adolescent years, young athletes are prone to sore muscles and growing pains. Empathises in this workshop is placed on stretching and mobilising tight muscles specifically the hamstrings, shoulders, back and hips.

This workshop is designed for students (athletes or not) who are looking for tools to help connect their body and minds. Teenagers will learn about visualisation, the importance of mobility, managing anxiety, and learning to communicate effectively with their team mates.  

This workshop is open to all levels and abilities! 

Please bring along a towel, water bottle and a light snack.
