In this workshop I’ll teach what and why and how of Yoga for Anxiety, sharing therapeutic techniques from Yoga that are helpful in alleviating the experience of anxiety and moving you towards a calm and joyous life.
The workshop will include:
2.75 hours of yoga instruction including:
- Yoga Philosophy
- Movement
- Breathing
- Meditation
- Chanting
- Journaling
There will be a 15 minute break with a Herbal Tea Selection available for your refreshment.
You will receive a note pad, pen and notes to take home
All Practices will be short (less than 20 minutes) and accessible to all levels of mobility.
This workshop is both a complement to our group classes, and a stand along workshop suitable for people with no yoga experience. It will shine a light on what techniques are most helpful and how you can easily bring these techniques into your everyday life.
The goal is that you leave with clear direction and a toolbox of techniques to help you gain both short term and long term relief from Anxious feelings.
